So, I had an idea of painting a "chalk" outline of a human figure on the hood of the car (like the chalk outlines drawn around homicide victims in the street) ... does that seem too dark? Would it look like I was symbolizing striking someone with the car? What if I styled the figure more like a Keith Haring figure?

Without knowing who Keith Haring is, I think it is a great idea. So Martha Grimes. Please continue to consider it. Maybe some police tape could be worked in somehow.
